Burbank

Burbank continues to provide a high quality of life for its residents while promoting community engagement, as seen with projects like the Chandler Bikeway, Stough Canyon Nature Center, Robert R Oyrom Park and a new and expanded state of the art Buena Vista Branch Library. In 2005, Connect with Your Community was established with the mission to create opportunities, projects, and partnerships (between residents, non-profits, city employees, etc.) that strengthen the local non-profit and community service agenda.

The City of Burbank is home to twelve historic properties that have been recognized at the national, state, or local level.
Burbank is fortunate to have three properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places:
1. Burbank City Hall, 275 East Olive Avenue,
2. Burbank Post Office, 125 East Olive Avenue
3. Portal of the Folded Wings, Valhalla Memorial Park.
